Choosing the best paper for brochure printing

When it comes to brochure printing, you will find that to print multiple copies of the brochure you not simply order the amount you want, especially when you only need a few copies. You should consider large-scale prints in abundance with a minimum standard print of 1000 copies; of course, in order to get a fair price.

Maybe this is a problem for those who have just opened a new business, because usually you will only need a small amount for the purposes of initial brochure, or flyer, with consideration of savings. Well this is where you may then decide to print your own brochures using a personal printer, but unfortunately you just use a conventional paper which if exposed to water the color may fade.

Well, then what is good and cheap type of paper to use when printing brochures?

Many types of paper out there and it's quite confusing if you do not know exactly what the function and usability of the papers. Also the paper to print brochures that have various types, I myself once dabbled in paper types until I finally found the solution paper for printing brochures at a cheap price. It is A4 Inkjet Paper 130 gsm, and what I love about this paper is it's water resistant and it has high resolution.

Here's some good type of paper for printing brochures:

  • Thicker than regular paper
  • Smoother surface of the paper (do not like the kind of glossy paper which is sticky)
  • The back of the paper a little more rugged than the front
  • Not fade when exposed to water (water resistant)

And I found some of the criteria on A4 Inkjet Paper 130 gsm. I even had to prove themselves by printing and then try to splatter it with water, which turns the paper color does not fade and still look great after I wait a few minutes until slightly dry. The paper is worth USD$ 9.8 / pack containing 100 sheets of paper. You can make that price as a future reference. Hope it will be useful to you!

Over the years I've ordered dozens of brochures that were printed with less than expected quality, some being downright scrappy. A couple months ago my company in Sunrise FL, printed some brochures with PCA Delta, and they were great. I've been printing with them ever since. They show care for the environment by using soy based inks, plus recycled papers are available upon request. If you need brochures or other items designed and printed go to http://www.pcadeltaprinting.com/ I strongly recommend them.

Me too, I prefer the smooth one. Usually that’s what we always request at SLB Printing for our brochures. Sometimes we also opt for uncoated paper stock for rush printing.
